The Constitution: RIP

The Constitution has been trampled on for decades so I am realistic. But we must continually fight to keep what freedoms we have. Recently, the 4th Amendment has been a particular target of the State. The searches before boarding planes are clearly breaking the 4th Amendment. There is no reason for anyone to be searched unless there is reasonable grounds to think that a crime is about to be committed.

One twist to all this is that they cannot racially profile so have to randomly search. In this case, they throw out the 4th Amendment in order to retain their political correctness! BarlowFriendz: A Taste of the System

The Franklin System

I'm a major fan of the Franklin system of day planners. The reason is that it truly is a system that can organize your life to maximize your productivity and, more importantly, can contribute to your happiness. Most day planners focus on creating more productivity but only Franklin focuses on your personal well being.

It does this by asking you to first identify your values and your goals. You then use a top down system to determine what you do that day. It is this constant alignment of your values and goals with your daily life that creates the power of the Franklin system.

Additional advantages include a level of organization that is second to none.

I have been using Franklin now for about 8 years. I've taken some time off to try other systems but keep coming back.

I urge you to click on the small banner ad on the right and check it out.

China Hurries to Animate Its Film Industry

Following on our recent story comes a good article from the NY Times on a full length 3D film coming out of China. To us, it is only a matter of time before most animation moved to China due to the low cost labor. Animation, even with computers, is one of the most labor intensive projects there is thus creating a huge incentive to move to China. The New York Times
